Who was Gandhi and why should you care?

I think most people don’t realize that in the early 1900’s something incredible happened.

A man who in every sense lived out of the center of his soul with true peace, followed his dreams, and taught all of us many valuable lessons.

Just because he’s gone and just because the issues he addressed are no longer at the forefront of modern politics, doesn’t mean we should forget his messages and teachings.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was by far one of the greatest leaders history has ever recorded.

The things he accomplished were so revolutionary, so exhilarating, and so inspiring that they can make our our ambitions seem quite easily attainable in comparison.

In the movie “Gandhi” there were so many lasting “saying” from this great man, that it’s hard to choose one.

But here is my favorite:

“Whenever You Are Confronted By An Opponent, Conquer Him With Love.”

Ben Kingsley does an amazing job in the film, I think you’ll agree.
