Never Give Up!

As an athlete, sports has been one of my greatest teachers.

This video blog reinforces many of the lessons I have learned on the field.

There have been many times as a soccer player that I felt making one more run was impossible. However, I never passed out on the field or anything dramatic like that.

In fact, I always got my “second and third winds” to not only get me through a game, but to allow me to perform at a high-level. After a while, I knew when my second wind was coming and always happily welcomed it.

Life is the same way! In our careers, relationships, and other aspects of our lives… EXPECT A SECOND WIND. It has always come for me and will aways come for you.

There is catch… You MUST believe that life is made up of seasons. And that if for whatever reason you are going through tough times, the SEASON WILL CHANGE!

FIRST, believe without a doubt that life is made up of seasons and that every one has its purpose.

SECOND, as hard as it may be at times, stay optimistic and always look for new opportunities to move towards the next season.

THIRD, NEVER GIVE UP! If you only knew what you were capable of quitting would never be an option. You would always be moving confidently to the next season.
